That’s right: Free hosting! WordPress.com uses the same great back-end that a custom site from 601 Solutions would. The catch is that it doesn’t allow you all of the flexibility and extensibility of a custom set up, and your web address will be http://yoursite.wordpress.com. You can pay WordPress.com a small fee each year for your own domain, but you still won’t have all the features you may want down the road. Happily, when you’re ready to take the plunge and invest a little more in your web presence, 601 Solutions can seamlessly migrate your starter site for you, and build in all the features you’re dying to have!

In this range, you’re getting a custom WordPress installation on your own web hosting account, with your own domain name. You’re getting our expert help in configuring the basics of your site, great graphics, and some important customizations to help your site float to the top of internet searches, play well with social media, and more. You’re getting solid custom design work, too – maybe some unique templates for certain sections of your site, help with advertisements, and more.
$1000+
Your custom site from 601 Solutions will be incredibly extensible, highly configurable, and can do just about anything you want a website to do. If you need a Flash-based image gallery, we can do that. If you need a shopping cart, we can do that. If you need unique appearances for every page in your site, we can do that. If you need hands-on training and job aids for your team of 15 content contributors, we can do that, too.
Web Hosting Not Included
Where your site resides can impact how much it will cost to get it up and running. We love and recommend BlueHost.com. For most people, their basic hosting package, which runs about $85/year, will be sufficient, and for a few bucks a month, you can buy individual upgrades if we determine you need them.
If you’re not ready to commit to a hosting account, we can still find some great solutions for you that can cut the overall cost of the project.
The hosting fees will be paid directly to your hosting provider (not to 601 Solutions), but should be factored in when making decisions about your website.
