As the Director of a public library I have a wide variety of responsibilities and duties. In an effort to prioritize them I often ask myself two questions: will this be a wise and efficient expenditure of staff time and public money? And how will our patrons directly benefit from it? I recently had the pleasure of working with Shelly Drumm as the consultant for the design, content, and implementation of the new website for the John C. Fremont Library. I couldn’t be more pleased with the level of expertise, the attention to details, flexibility of solutions, and genuine interest Shelly took in not only listening to the staff’s input and requests, but then turning all that information into a dynamic, user-friendly (for staff and patrons), highly personalized, and professional website that speaks for itself. I would highly recommend her work to anyone.
